Philibert Laverdiere
Passed away peacefully at McNally House on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the age of 96. Beloved husband of Pauline. Loving father of Rejean (Jeannine), Raymond (the late Joanne), Ginette and Sylvie Bloom (Brian). Cherished grandfather of Marc (Siobhan), Luc (Julie), Guy (Christina), David, Ashley (Dane), Nathan, Marcus (Lisa), Gabriel (Danielle), Marc (Francine) and Yvon (Kim). Proud great-grandfather of Tyler, Paige, Chloé, Valérie, Nevéah, Ronyn, Lyle, Lauren, Ethan, Stephane, Nicholas and sweet dog Catin. Predeceased by his 22 siblings. Missed also by nieces, nephews and many friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 135 Livingston Avenue, Grimsby on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the church on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to McNally House, St. Joseph’s Parish or Grimsby Seniors Community Centre would be sincerely appreciated by the family. A Memorial Mass will be held at Saint-Jean De Brébeuf, 26 Kathleen Street, Sudbury on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 10:30 a.m.
