Obituary of PEARL TYMOFICHUK

(Nee Harasymko)
July 23, 1924 – December 8, 2018
Sadly we announce the passing of Pearl at the Riverview Health Centre in the early morning of December 8, 2018.
Born and raised in the district of Zbruch, Pearl was predeceased by her parents, Metro and Nellie Harasymko, her husband Maurice in 1986, her siblings Ann, Olga, Doris, John, Nick and Bill, her daughter Shirley Carey, granddaughters Michelle and Angel, and a great grandson Berkley.
Pearl is survived by sons Lenny (Katie) and Richard (Kim), son-in-law Leon Carey, 6 grandchildren Renee, Monique, Cheryl, Aimee, Dylan, and Jason, 11 great grandchildren, and 7 great, great grandchildren.
She was a kind, generous, beautiful lady, who was a devout Christian, a long-time member of Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church and an active member of the UCWLC for many years. She was always neatly dressed, immaculate house keeper and wonderful cook.
She loved their cottage at Betula where she, Maurice and the family spent many summers. She also enjoyed dancing, golf, and bowling.
Thank you to Riverview Health Centre for excellent care, compassion and Pastoral visits.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, at Munroe and Watt. Interment to follow in Holy Family Cemetery.
Flowers gratefully declined. If you so wish, a donation can be made to Riverview respiratory centre.
