Obituary of Paulette Major (Lemieux)
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Paulette Major, on April 28, 2018 at the age of 70, during her trip in Rome. Beloved wife of Claude Major. Loving mother of Danielle (Oliver Gerestein) ; adored grandmother of : Florence and Annabelle ; dear sister to : Michel, Richard (Linda Hackett) and Donald (Roxane Lamothe). She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews and extended family. She will join her parents, Ernest Lemieux and Marguerite D’Aoust, who predeceased her. Paulette was happily retired, following her many years of distinguished service for the Library of Parliament in Ottawa. The family will receive relatives and friends at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Rd., Orléans, on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 7 – 9 p.m., as well as on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Heritage Funeral Complex, on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11 a.m. Online condolences may be shared at: www.heritagefh.ca
C’est avec une grande tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès soudain de Mme Paulette Major, le 28 avril 2018, à l’âge de 70 ans, alors qu’elle était en voyage à Rome. Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux Claude Major ; sa fille : Danielle (Oliver Gerestein) ; ses petits-enfants : Florence et Annabelle ; ses frères : Michel, Richard (Linda Hackett) et Donald (Roxane Lamothe); sa famille élargie ainsi que ses neveux et nièces. Elle rejoint son père, Ernest Lemieux, et sa mère, Marguerite D’Aoust, déjà décédés. Paulette vivait une retraite heureuse, suivant plusieurs années de travail apprécié à la Bibliothèque du Parlement à Ottawa.
La famille recevra parents et amis au Complexe funéraire Héritage, 1250, ch. Trim, Orléans, le vendredi 8 juin 2018 de 19h à 21h, ainsi que le samedi 9 juin 2018 de 9h30 à 11h.
