After a long and well-lived life, with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Paula McLarty (Gillis) on Friday, September 21st, 2018 in her 85th year. Born in Alberton, PEI, Paula was the beloved wife of Glen McLarty as well as a devoted mother to Jane, John (Heather), Nancy (Jeff Cornett) and Robert (Stephanie) and loving grandmother of Christopher, Sean, Max, Hugh, Adam, Nick, Maryanne, Simon, Camille, and Violet. Paula, predeceased by her sister Mary, will be lovingly remembered by her sister Nancy and brother, Neil as well as her many nieces and nephews, friends and family. Follow in her path, for pools of light were left by her footprints. Visitation will be held at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral home, Thursday, September 27th, 5 pm to 7 pm. Mass will be held on Friday, September 28th, 2018 at 11:00 am, St. Andrews Catholic Church, 47 Reynolds St. Oakville, Ontario. All are welcome. Memorial contributions are most welcome to Diabetes Canada. www.diabetes.ca/donate ”
