Surrounded by his family, Paul passed peacefully on June 25, 2018 at the age of 57 at Dorothy Ley Hospice. Predeceased by his parents Nick and Loretta Labine; his uncle Albert, and his auntie Alice; and the family pets Princess, Ribbit, Mitzie, and Dahlia. Paul leaves behind his loving wife Barbara, his daughters Crystal (Keith) and Deana; as well as his two granddaughters Riley and Bella.
A longtime employee of CN Rail as a heavy machine mechanic, Paul loved to travel the country with “OBIE” to teach children the importance of train safety. He was a loving and dedicated grandpa; he loved nothing more than spending time with ‘his girls’, whether it was taking them for ice cream before dinner or watching a Leafs game on the couch.
Friends and family will be received at Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (at 14th St., between Islington and Kipling Aves., 416-259-3705) on Saturday June 30, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. in the chapel.
