At Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Tuesday July 17th, 2018, Mr. Paul Dillon of Chatham in his 77th year. Cherished son of the late Edwin and Laura Dillon. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Jernigan). Loving father of Julie Valente and her husband Lino of London, Laurie Regan and her husband Jim of Chatham, and Carrie Carleton and her husband Rob of Chatham. He will be loving remembered by his grandchildren Sarah, Bridget, Dillon, Steven, Rachel, and Jason. Dear brother of Pauline Opdecam, and predeceased by his siblings Morley Dillon, Shirley Lindsay, and Jim Dillon. Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710 on Thursday July 19th with visiting from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 180 Wellington St. West, Chatham, on Friday July 20th at 10 a.m. with Father Don Pumputis celebrant. Parish prayers will be shared on Thursday at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow with interment to take place at a later date. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider the Canadian Diabetes Association and the Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent.
