Passed peacefully away at St. Luke’s Homes, St. John’s, NL, on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, Patrick Joseph Walsh, retired postman, in his 85th year. Born July 29, 1934 in St. John’s, NL, he was predeceased by parents, Edward and Angela (Fowler) Walsh, brothers, Jack, Bernard, Mike and Ed (Gandy) and sisters, Kitty Greening, Mary Soik, Veronica Hillier, Bernadette Blair and infant sister Margaret. Leaving to mourn are brother in law, David Hillier and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd., St. John’s. Visitation will be Thursday, August 30th , 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Caul’s Chapel, St. John’s on Friday, August 31st at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted, or a donation can be made in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Society of Newfoundland & Labrador.
