Norman Young
1934-2018
Norman Young, 83, of Beresford and
formerly of Patterson Cres., Bathurst, passed away on Tuesday December
11, 2018 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital,
Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst,
he was the son of the late Leo and Eveline (Boudreau)
Young.
Norman was the
co-owner of Young & Buttimer Trucking Ltd. until his
retirement.
Besides his wife,
Thelma (Boucher) Young, he is survived by three daughters: Gail Girouard
(Peter) of Bathurst, Debbie Doucet (Peter) of Truro, NS and
Sharon
Young (Doug Fagan) of
Riverview.
Seven
grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.
Two brothers:
Joey
Young (Anne-Marie) of Bathurst and Jean-Paul Young (Simone) of New
Richmond,
QC.
Five sisters:
Pauline
Buttimer (Donald), Arnolda Young, Rose Landry
(Lorenzo), Linda Frenette (Norbert) all of Bathurst
and Anita Young (Camille Latour) of
Beresford.
Several nieces
and nephews.
He was
pre-deceased by two brothers, Peter and
Claude.
There will be no
visitations at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be
celebrated on Friday December 14, 2018 at 2 p.m. from the Sacred Heart
Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Donations in memory of
Norman may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the
donors choice.
