OBITUARY
Nick Bendza
March 18, 1937 – September 9, 2018
On September 9, 2018 at the age of 81 years, Nick Bendza passed away peacefully with family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer.
Nick grew up and has lived in the Thorsby area all of his life, having a successful mixed farming operation.
Nick is lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years Dianne; sons Glenn (Colleen), Rick (Debbie), Jack (Jay-Lynn), James (Jenn); grandchildren Presley, Savannah, Brock, Jillian, Rachel & Brett; siblings Harvey, Millie, and Peter (Kasia); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral Liturgy will be held Friday, September 14, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Parish (2 miles west of Calmar, Alberta) with Reverend Father Benny Ambrosie officiating. Interment to follow at St. Peter and St. Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, 28074 Township Road 492, Thorsby.
If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to St. Peter and St. Paul Perpetual Cemetery Fund.
