It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Neil Claude Ward announces his tragic passing. Neil passed away from the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Wednesday, June 27th, 2018 at the age of 52 years.
Predeceased by his parents – Claude & Lorraine Ward; parents-in-law – Weir & Phyllis Burton; brother-in-law – Don Burton; and nephew – Nico Foster.
Left with a lifetime of incredible memories is his wife of almost 28 years – Dana; children – Zachary, Shelby and Chelsea; granddaughter – Ashlynn; siblings – Roy Ward (Alexia), Doug Ward (Susan), Terry Ward (Tanya), Tassie Foster (Lorne), Lynette Gray (Bert) and Michelle Warren (Doug); siblings-in-law – Tony Burton (Wavey), Murray Burton (Rebecca), Dale Bath (Boyce) and Marietta Burton as well as an incredibly large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, staff and customers of La Scie Stop N’ Shop and innumerable friends.
Public Visitation will take place from The Salvation Army Citadel, La Scie, NL on Monday, July 2nd, 2018 from 2:00-9:00PM.
Captains Ken & Elsie Brown, assisted by Majors Arley & Darlene Masters will conduct the Funeral Service from The Salvation Army Citadel, La Scie, NL on Tuesday, July 3rd, 2018 at 2:00PM. Interment will follow from The Salvation Army Cemetery, La Scie, NL.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Neil’s memory to The Salvation Army Youth Group, P.O. Box 54, La Scie, NL, A0k 3M0.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Foster Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.
