Mrs. Myrna Faye Manning a longtime resident of the Drumheller Valley beloved wife of the late Charles “Gordon” Manning passed away peacefully on April 4, 2018 at Drumheller Health Centre (Continuing Care) at the age of 85 years.
Myrna was born on July 14, 1932 in Drumheller, Alberta to William & Irene Mackie, she took all of her schooling in the Drumheller Valley. On June 13, 1953, she married Charles “Gordon” Manning, the couple had four children and spent 55 years together. Myrna worked at various jobs in the Valley including nursing.
In later years Myrna enjoyed her hobby work, including painting, and crafting and spending time with her family.
Myrna was predeceased by her husband Charles “Gordon” Manning (2008), her parents Bill & Irene Mackie, and her brother Lorne Mackie.
Myrna leaves to cherish he memory, daughter Diane (Damien)Belanger, sons Ross (Deborah Belden) Manning, Scott (Joanne) Manning, Mark (Vikky) Manning, 8 grandchildren, brothers Ron and Rob Mackie and their families, and a lifetime of friends. Myrna will be sadly missed by her family.
As per Myrna’s request there will be no funeral service. Memorial donations may be made in loving memory of Myrna Manning to the Drumheller Area Health Foundation.
