Muriel Tessier
March 18, 1946 – December 9, 2018
TESSIER, Muriel Rita “Toune“ (Montroy) – Surrounded by her loving family at Cornwall Hospice on Sunday December 9, 2018. She was 72. Loving wife of the late Garth Tessier. Cherished mother of Jenny Lalonde (Mike Archambault), Rodney Lalonde and Sally Lalonde (Jason Winter) and step-mother of Linda Tessier and Debbie Tessier. Sadly missed by 6 grandchildren, Krystal, Samantha, Alix, Damon, Makayla, Kalib and 4 great grandchildren, Gavyn, Charlotte, Seth and Linkan. Survived by 4 brothers and 5 sisters, Mitchell (Solange), Donald (Rosemary), John, Cecil (Denise), Darlene Billard (Gilbert), Brenda Montroy, Bonita“Bonnie“ Clement (Terry), Susan Herrington, and Jean Charland (late Donald). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, John and Germaine (Vivarais) Montroy and 4 brothers, Harry (Irene), Robert (Marcelle), Leo (late Dawn), Romeo and 2 sisters, Beverly Tyrell and June Gadbois. Friends and family will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Tuesday December 18, 2018 from 9am until funeral liturgy in the chapel of the funeral home at 10am. Rite of Committal to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations (by cheque) to Hospice Cornwall – Carefore would be appreciated by the family.
