Muriel MacLeod
1926-2018
Trenton – Muriel passed away in her 92nd year July 19, 2018.
She was predeceased by her parents: Mabel (Hendsbee) and
Joseph MacLeod as well as siblings: Fred, Sam, Ethel, Marion and two
infant brothers. She is survived by her sister, Laura Stumpf (Andrew)
as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews and her namesake
Madalynn Muriel. Born in Trenton, Muriel moved to
Montreal and worked as a personal secretary for Myers CM and company
until her retirement. She returned to Trenton and loved to spend time
with her family and friends. Muriel could often be seen keeping an eye
on the neighborhood from her chair in the porch. Muriel’s family would
like to thank everyone for the kindness and support they
provided to Muriel through the years. A public graveside service for
Muriel for family and friends will take place at 2 pm, Wednesday,
August 8th, in Hillside Cemetery, with Mr. Fergie MacKay officiating.
Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of the R.H. Porter Funeral Home,
Trenton.
