Of Paris, Ontario, in his 86th year, walked into the presence of his Lord and Saviour, on the morning of September 22, 2018, in Brantford, Ontario following a brief illness. Milford was born at home in Williamsford, Ontario to Karl and Elese (Scheide) Heimbecker (predeceased). As a boy, he moved with his family to Cambridge, Ontario. Milford’s greatest joy was to share the love of Jesus with everyone he met. Throughout his adulthood he pastored churches in Eastern Ontario and the Maritimes. Milford was blessed to have been loved by two wonderful women. He was married to his first wife, and the mother of his children, Ethel (nee. Gallagher) for over fifty years. After Ethel’s passing (2015) he was blessed to meet and marry Rose Marie (Daniel) who had brought joy back into his life. He has left behind a great legacy of faith, love, courage and endurance.
Milford will be dearly missed by his wife Rose Marie. Forever loved by his children Jewell (Joe) Chiaravalloti, Joel (Mary) and Shawn (Teresa). Cherished grandfather of Jennifer (Dan), Jacquelyn (Dave), Anya (Dave), Charity (Geoffrey), Rhian (Nicolas), Chris, Melissa and Mathew and ten great-grandchildren. Loved brother of Clinton (Ruth), sister Evelyn (Danny) Poirier and sisters-in-law Mae Sager, Dorothy Mayall and Verna Gallagher and brother-in-law Daniel. Milford will be dearly missed by his extended family and many dear friends.
Friends will be welcomed at the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL Funeral Home, 1105 Rest Acres Rd., Paris, Ontario on Wednesday from 2 -4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Cedarview Church, 20 Cedar Street, Paris, Ontario on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Milford’s memory to Braeside Camp in Paris, Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
