OBITUARY
Mijo “Mike” Suljak
April 26, 1939 – December 14, 2018
Suljak, Mijo “Mike”.
The family sadly announces the passing of Mike on Friday December 14, 2018 with his family at his side at Trinity Village Care Centre, Kitchener. Mike age 79 years, was born in Croatia and came to Canada in 1964. Mike was the proud builder and owner along with his wife Anna, of M.S. Custom Contractors Ltd.
Beloved husband of Anna (nee Brnjas) of 51 years of marriage; loving father of Michael (Melanie), John (Ninetta) and Mary Koebel (Paul). Dearest Grandpa of Georgia, Julia, Adam, Layla and Charlie.
Brother of Ivan (Mira) ; son-in-law of Mary Brnjas and will be missed by brothers and sisters-in-law, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by his parents, brothers, Janko, Juraj, Josip; granddaughters, Megan, Caroline and Victoria and father-in-law, Joseph Brnjas.
Mike’s family will receive friends and relatives at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. Kitchener on Tuesday 2-4, 7-9pm. (Prayers 8:30pm)
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at
St. Anthony Daniel R. C. Church, 29 Midland Drive, Kitchener on Wednesday December 19th, 2018 at 10:00am with Father Allen Varlaki as celebrant.
Interment: Woodland Cemetery.
