STANOJEVIC, Mihailo ‘Mija’ – Passed away peacefully at Millennium Trail Manor on Monday February 19, 2018 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of 59 years to Emilija ‘Milka’ Stanojevic. Dearly loved father of Milan (Maria) Stanojevic. Cherished Deda of Aleksandra and Angelka Stanojevic. He will be sadly missed by his cousin Nikola Martinovic (Vasiljka), nephew Slobodan Martinovic, niece Jasmina Cessario, niece Sandra Botteri and their families. Dear brother-in-law of Milenko (Ilona) Mackic, Rado (Roxanne) Mackic and Radmila (Zivota) Vukadinovic. Dear uncle of Tanya, Susie (Aurelio) DiSantos, Claudia, Nicholas, Adrian, Rachel (John) Towes, Natasha (Chris) Corfield, Sreten and Vasilije. He will be sadly missed by many other relatives and friends in Canada, the USA and the former Yugolavia. Family and friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Pomen will be celebrated at 7:30 pm. Opelo will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 am at St. Peter and St. Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church (St. Ilija Serbian Orthodox Church), 5906 Sylvia Place, Niagara Falls. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. In memory of Mr. Stanojevic, donations to St. Ilija Serbian Orthodox Church would be appreciated by his family.
