Passed peacefully away on Thursday, December 20, 2018 in his home in the comfort of his own bed surrounded by loving family members, age 87 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Olga (Lethbridge), parents Michael and Victoria (Harvey), brothers John, Robert, Richard, sisters Jeanette, Jean, Mary and Cecilia. Left with fond and loving memories are his children Sandra (Larry Peters), Linda (Rick Maher), Mike (Donna Constantine), Frances (Rick Noseworthy), Vickie (Allan Roitner), Marion (Jim Reader), Leonard (Maria Roppo), 14 grandchildren Heidi, Peter, Joseph, Victoria, Lisa, Michael, Jessica, David, Sean, Zacharie, Evelyn, Samantha, Kevin, Olivia and Spencer, 12 great-grandchildren, sisters Betty King, Barbara Dillon, brother Jim (Philomena Stockman), sister-in-law Roma Rideout, brother-in-law Frank Fowler, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Many thanks to Dad’s wonderful and caring neighbours, especially Dick Stevenson and his recently deceased wife, Theresa. Special thanks to the 6th floor nursing and medical staff of St. Clare’s, Community Health Nurses, Josie of Rosemore Homecare, Palliative Care Home Support, Joe Janson for his prayerful weekly visits with Dad, and Evelyn and Mary Kate (Anspach Home Support Team). Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Thursday, December 27 from 2 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Friday, December 28 from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Church. Interment at St. Kevin’s Cemetery, Goulds. Flowers gratefully declined. Mass Cards accepted, or donations may be made to a charity of ones choosing.
