It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mike Sovie, with family by his side on December 31, 2017 at 63 years of age. Cherished and devoted husband of Cindy (Moloy) for 45 years. Loving father of Alana, Terra Burke (Brendan) and Alexis Liebrock (Scott). Proud “Bampa” of Maddy, Wyatt, Emmett, Lucy and Everett. Dear brother of Mary Hagan, Paul (Sue), David, Cathy Rand (Tim) and Karen Parsons (Simon). Predeceased by mother Betty Parsons and father Jim Sovie. He will be sadly missed by his faithful companion Rex, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Mike played for the Windsor Spitfires from 1972 – 1975 and was avid hockey fan. He was a proud member of the United Association Local 527 as a Plumber. A special thank you to Dr. Kanjeekal and all the staff at WRH-Met. Campus Oncology Unit for their outstanding care and compassion.
