Médéric Provost
Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Médéric Provost le mercredi 22 août 2018 à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner à l’âge de 77 ans. Comme passe-temps, Médéric aimait jouer à la pétanque et aux rondelles, ainsi qu’aller au café avec ses amis. Il a travaillé chez Spruce Falls pendant plus de 40 ans et fut propriétaire d’un atelier de réparation de machines à coudre Singer – continuant même après sa retraite.
Il laisse pour pleurer sa perte ses enfants: Pauline Prevost (Bruce Kemp) de Brighton, Jacques (Carol Mercier) de Geraldton et André (Carol Larochelle) de Kapuskasing; son frère et ses sœurs : Rozabelle Tomiak de St. Catharines Agathe Brochu de Sault Ste. Marie, et Arthur Prevost de Thunder Bay; huit petits-enfants: Tina, Patrick, Kevin, Isabelle, Jérémie, Zachary, Dylan et Cole; cinq arrière-petits-enfants, Isaiah, Nathan, Khoewyn, Milah et Corban; ainsi que son amie, Gabrielle Bordeleau.
Il fut prédécédé par son épouse, Denise; un fils, Miguel; ses parents: Ernest Provost et Idebell Cummings, et plusieurs frères et sœurs. Un service commémoratif aura lieu le mardi 28 août à 10h00 au Cimetière de Kapuskasing. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Suite d’Hospice de l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner.
We regret to announce the death of Médéric Provost on August 22, 2018 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 77 years. In his spare time, Médéric enjoyed playing bocce and washers, as well as going for coffee with his friends. He worked at Spruce Falls for over 40 years and was the owner of a Singer sewing machine repair shop – which he still enjoyed doing, even after his retirement.
He will be greatly missed by his children: Pauline Prevost (Bruce Kemp) of Brighton, Jacques (Carol Mercier) of Geraldton and André (Carol Larochelle) of Kapuskasing; his siblings: Rozabelle Tomiak of St. Catharines, Agathe Brochu of Sault Ste. Marie, and Arthur Prevost of Thunder Bay; eight grandchildren: Tina, Patrick, Kevin, Isabelle, Jérémie, Zachary, Dylan and Cole; five great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Nathan, Khoewyn, Milah and Corban; as well as his close friend, Gabrielle Bordeleau. He was predeceased by his wife, Denise; one grandson, Miguel; his parents: Ernest Provost and Idebell Cummings, and many brothers and sisters.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 28th at 10:00 a.m. at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Sensenbrenner Hospital – Hospice Suite would be greatly appreciated.
