Maxine was a very social and loving person. To know Maxine was to love
her. She always found the good in everyone and she made sure her
family shared the same values. She had an amazing sense of humor and
made people smile wherever she went. Maxine will be remembered for the
love she had for her Church family. Many members of the L’Etete Church
of Christ attended wedding showers and baby showers that Maxine
hosted, and she did so with much love and pride. Maxine was a
recipient of the Silver Cross and faithfully laid a wreath every year
on Remembrance Day in honor of her late husband Charles. Never one to
complain, Maxine kept everyone around her smiling even in her final
