Kevin “Matthew” Marr – age 29, of
Addington forks formerly of French River passed away on December 12,
2018 in St Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in
New Glasgow he was a son of Heather (Browning) Marr, Addington Forks
and the late Wayne Marr.
Matthew was a machinist by trade and had worked with
Bourgault Industries in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Matthew loved life
and enjoyed nascar racing, hanging out with the guys and buying and
selling.
He is survived by his mother Heather Marr (Andrew
Jessens), Addington Forks; his wife Pearlie Barcelona and her daughter
Micah, Addington Forks; sister Stephanie (Ryan) Matthews, Eastern
Passage; brother David Marr (Katelyn), New Glasgow; step-brother
Stewart Jessens, Addington Forks and 4 nieces and
nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Wayne Marr maternal
grandparents Sterling and Marian Browning, paternal grandparents Joe
and Margaret Bellefontaine.
Visitation will be from 7-9 pm on Friday Dec. 14,
2018 in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will
be held at 2 pm on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018 in the H.W. Angus Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Gail Johnson Murdock officiating. Burial will be
in the French River Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in his
memory may be made to his daughter Micah education fund at any branch
of the East Coast Credit Union.
The family would like to thank Dr. Howard
and the staff in the Palliative Care Unit at St.
Martha’s Regional Hospital for their exceptional
care
