It is with great sadness that the family announces Mary’s passing at the Timmins & District Hospital on Friday, September 28, 2018 at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Fernand Lehoux (2010). Loving mother of the late Victor Wood (1983). Mary leaves behind her grandchildren Maryanne Wood of Trenton, ON., Adam Wood of Richmond Hill, ON., Randy Wood (Amanda) of Trenton, ON., Tammy Wood (Ken Elliott) of Timmins, ON., Nathalie Veil (Guy) of Timmins, ON., Josée Corbin (Gilles Goulet) of Timmins, ON., and Gino Corbin of Niagara Falls, ON. Mary also had many great grandchildren who will miss her dearly. Also left to mourn is her daughter-in-law Marielle Corbin of Timmins. She is predeceased by all her brothers and sisters. Mary was a “social butterfly” and enjoyed being with her friends, she especial loved going out for live country music.
Memorial service will be held at 12 pm on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from the Miron-Wilson Funeral Chapel (Deacon Michel Néron officiating). As per Mary’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and interment of ashes at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery will follow. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
The family will receive friends from 11:15 am to 11:45 am on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the
