Obituary of Mary Warner
WARNER: Mary Christina (nee Lacey)
Passed away peacefully at The Bridge Hospice, Warkworth, on Thursday November 1, 2018. Mary (nee Lacey) of Hastings in her 91st year. Beloved wife of 67 years to Ronald “Ron” Warner. Cherished mother of Dean (Carol), Wendy Hale (John) and Wayne (Anne Marie), all of Hastings and Karen Yellowlees (Dennis) of Nestleton. Grandma will always be loved and remembered by Lacey Warner, Stephanie Murphy (Camron) and Christine and Jennifer Yellowlees. Also remembered by her sister-in-law Margaret Lacey and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her siblings Milton Lacey (Dorothy), Jean Rowden (William) and Ted Lacey. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL, 36 Queen Street, Norwood on Sunday November 4, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held from the chapel on Monday November 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Don McLean officiating. Interment Westwood Community Cemetery. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of St. Andrew’s United Church, Westwood. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Memorial Fund of St. Andrew’s United Church, Westwood or The Bridge Hospice, Warkworth. Friends may send condolences or make donations by contacting the funeral home at 705-639-5322.
