TISDALE, Mary Jean (nee Pretsell)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mary, on November 20, 2018, at St. Peter’s Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Howard Wilmot (Bill). Predeceased by her siblings Teddy, Jim (Alma), Jack, Violet (Richard) and Margaret (David) and brother-in-law Ev, and survived by her sister Lil and sisters-in-law Vera, Carol and Shirley. Cherished aunt and great-aunt of many. Mary will be fondly remembered by her many friends and relatives. She was a member of Stoney Creek United Church for over 40 years. Mary and Bill enjoyed travelling with their nephews and nieces throughout the province, with special memories of Good Friday hikes. Memorial visitation will take place at L.G. Wallace Funeral Home, 151 Ottawa St. North, Hamilton (905)544-1147, on Friday, December 7th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, December 8th from 2:00-3:00 p.m. with service to follow in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at a later date. Special thanks to the staff of St. Peter’s 3W for their care and compassion. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the CNIB or Stoney Creek United Church.
