It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden
passing of Mary Leigh
(DeWitt) Boudreau, 50, of Dieppe and formerly of
Sackville, NB on Saturday, December 8, 2018. Born in
Kentville, NS, Mary Leigh was a daughter of Dr. Wallace and Barbara
DeWitt of Sackville, NB.
Mary Leigh was a graduate of Tantramar
Regional High School, Sackville, and received a Bachelor of Arts with
distinction from Mount Allison University. She completed her
Paralegal certificate from Oulton’s Business College. She
pursued a career in law and was the Senior Litigation Paralegal for
Cantini Law Group, Moncton. As a student, she was active in
Brownies and Girl Guides, and a recipient of the Canada
Cord. She was a member of the Sackville Swim Club, the
Sackville Skating Club and the Sackville Basketball Program.
In the summers, she worked with the Keillor House, the Mt A Library
and the food services. She really enjoyed the newspaper
puzzles, music, watching movies, walking, and
traveling.
Mary Leigh will be dearly missed by her
husband of twenty-two years, Brian Boudreau, Dieppe; her parents, Dr.
Wallace and Barbara DeWitt, Sackville; her sister, Yvette (Vincent)
Mullen, Saskatoon; her brother, Patrick DeWitt, Moncton; nephews,
MItchell, Jonah, and Isaac; her mother-in-law, Germaine (Late Earl)
Boudreau, Saint-Antoine, NB; sisters-in-law, Tina and Marilyn (Roger
Tremblay) Boudreau; brother-in-law, David (Nathalie) Boudreau, as well
as several nieces and nephews.
