Obituary Overview
Martha Anne Bronson
It is with tearful relief and much love that after a prolonged battle with cancer we announce Martha’s freedom from the pain and the restrictions of her earthly body. Mourning her loss are her husband of 59 years, John, son Greg (Pardeep) granddaughter Anjuli, grandsons Anil and Nikhil, son Stuart (Debbie) grandsons Chase, Spencer and Carter, and daughter Heather (Nelson) Choy, granddaughters Bretton, Anya and Bella and grandson Isaiah. Also mourning her passing are her brother Bill (Linda) Dyck; and nephew Arnold (Fern) Dyck. All of whom loved her dearly and will always remember her tenacity, bravery, grace and the unwavering love and caring she had for them.
Martha was grateful to the many friends who visited her during her last few months of life. She and her family would like to thank the staff at the Misericordia Hospital and the Norwood Extended Care Home for their unending compassion and diligent care.
Martha spent her adult life in Edmonton raising her family and working for Toronto Dominion Bank. Martha’s banking career spanned over 25 years and saw her rise through the ranks from a night time data entry clerk to an assistant branch manager.
Martha retired comfortably in 1998 and enjoyed travelling throughout western Canada with her husband John in their motorhome.
Her home life centered around the church. She was consistently active in bible study groups and attended numerous spiritual retreats. Her faith was undeniable.
