Marjorie H. Gibson
1930-2018
Marjorie H. Gibson, 88, passed away Sunday,
December 16, 2018 at Grass Home Riverview, with her family by her
side.
Born January 10, 1930 at Butternut Ridge, she was
the youngest daughter of the late Ira and Mildred (Henry)
Hoar.
Her married life was spent in Boundary Creek and
later enjoyed life at People’s Park Tower in Moncton. She
was a past member of the former Boundary Creek Baptist Church, the
Second North River United Baptist Church, a life member of the Women’s
Missionary Society, Boundary Creek Women’s Institute and the Seniors
Club at People’s Park Tower.
She is survived by her daughter Pam Gibson of
Calgary, AB; son Kenneth (Charline) of Boundary Creek; step-daughter
Joyce Wortman (Malcolm) of Boundary Creek and their children,
grandchildren and great grandchildren; granddaughter Sandra Smyth;
great granddaughter Madison of Calgary, AB; grandson Kenny Smyth and
great grandson Parker of Edmonton, AB; brother Russell Hoar of
Fredericton; sister-in-law Edith Hoar of Boundary Creek. Also survived
by several nieces and nephews; “special” niece Linda Colbert
of Boundary Creek, and “special” friend James Stuart McCully
of Edmonton, AB. Predeceased by her husband Henry V. Gibson; brother
Arnold Hoar; sister and brother-in-law Willa and Vincent Tracy and
sister-in-law Annie Hoar.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106
(372-4800) visiting will be Thursday, December 20 from 9:30 to 11 am.
The funeral will follow at 11:30 am in the chapel with Pastor Robb
Hunt officiating. Interment at Boundary Creek
Cemetery.
