Marjorie (Dixon) Grant passed away at Carleton Manor on Oct
31, 2018 at the age of 94.
Marjorie was born May 24, 1924 at Sandbach, Chester Co.
England to Fred and Gwendoline (Proud love) Dixon.
Marjorie is survived by her son, Glenn (Sheryl) Grant and
daughter, Judy (Mac) Carmichael, grandchildren Craig, Chris (Jessica)
and Steven Carmichael, step grandchildren, Jeff (Virgina) Liston and
Jennifer Sproul, three great grandchildren Parker Carmichael and
Penelope and Stella Carmichael, seven step grandchildren, Jacob,
Janelle, Jessica, Jack, Emma, Ethan and Ryan, one sister Muriel
Spooner of Vernon Connecticut, several nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Besides her parents Marjorie was predeceased by her husband
of 60 years George Grant, daughter Sheila Grant, brothers Robert, John
and Ronald Dixon.
We would like to thank the staff of Carleton Manor for the
love, care and compassion shown to our mother.
Visitation will be held at St. John’s
Anglican Church Richmond Corner on Monday, November 5,
2018 from 12:30 to 1:45. Funeral service will be on Monday at 2 PM
from St. John’s Anglican Church. Interment will be held in
the Woodstock Rural Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St.
John’s Anglican Church Fund or to the Carleton
Manor Nursing Home.
