Marilyn Dianne Swan, 69, of Charlottetown passed peacefully on June
23, 2018 at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre. Her final weeks
were spent at home surrounded by her loving family. Marilyn had a
heart of gold and her passing leaves much heartbreak amongst her
family and friends. She is survived by her children whom she adored:
Wayne Long, Randy Long (Christa Compton), James Long (Honour), and
Terena Long (Glen Hannam); six grandchildren and one great-grandchild;
siblings Linda MacCallum (Allan) and Everett Swan (Margie); and is
predeceased by her parents James and Marion Swan; and extended family
and friends too numerous to list but not forgotten. Resting at
Belvedere Funeral Home until Wednesday, June 27, then to Trinity
United Church for funeral service at 10:30AM. Interment in Sherwood
Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, June 26, 4:30PM – 7:30PM. In lieu of
flowers, donations in Marilyn’s memory may be made to the
Canadian Cancer Society – PEI Division.
