Obituary of Marie Buck (nee Meiklejohn)
BUCK, Lillian Marie (nee Meiklejohn) passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre surrounded by family, on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at the age of 91. She was a lifetime member of Trinity United Church, Hastings, and past Associate Director of the Ladies Homecraft Division with the Norwood Agricultural Society. Beloved wife of the late Stuart Buck. Dear mother of David (Anne), Jim (Barb), Bob (Nancy), Nancy Michalowicz (Rob), Mary Ann Meldrum (Dave), Susan Flood (Dennis), Janie Hull (Bob), Laurie Nikou (Dennis). Loving Gramma of 23 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by grandson Trevor Buck, and brothers Laird & Jack Meiklejohn. Gramma will be greatly missed during family get togethers, especially for playing euchre and for her famous butter tarts, brown sugar candy and shortbread. Arrangements entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL. Friends will be received at Trinity United Church Hastings, on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 12 noon until time of service at 2:00 pm. Reverend Jamie York officiating. Interment Norwood-Asphodel Cemetery at a later time.
