Obituary of Marie Zinken
Passed away peacefully due to complications of Pulmonary Hypertension at Victoria Hospital, London On., Sunday November 18th, 2018 at the age of 60 surrounded by family. She lived courageously with Lupus and Pulmonary Hypertension and was extremely thankful for the medical teams that supported her over the years.
Dear wife of Brian for 36 years. Cherished and loving mother of Christine Zinken. Will be fondly remembered by her brother Peter Lange (Barb Malishewski) and their children Emily and Elijah, and brother-in-law Bruce (Jane) Zinken and their children Philip (Julie) and Sarah-Jane (Matt) and their children.
Predeceased by her parents Rev. Norman and Helen Lange, parents-in-law Ross and Helen Zinken, and her nephew in infancy Anthony Zinken.
Marie was raised in her faith at Mount Zion Lutheran Church where many friendships were formed, including her friendship with her best friend and partner in life Brian.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Marie with her family during memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Wednesday November 28, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
A Memorial service will be held at Mount Zion Lutheran Church, 29 Westmount Rd., Waterloo, on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Philip Mathai officiating. Reception to follow upstairs in the Rev. Norman Lange Church Hall. Private family interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
