Surrounded by the love of her family Maria passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital at the age of 80. Beloved wife of Leo. Loving mother of Mark (Nadia) and Jody (Peter). Proud grandmother of Max and Mia. Predeceased by her brothers Alex and Willie. Caring sister-in-law of Germaine (Elton). Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews in Canada, the US, UK and Trinidad. Longtime employee of Queen Street Mental Hospital (CAMH). Funeral service will be held at the GLEN OAKS FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville (at Dundas St.) on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 1 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Burial Glen Oaks Cemetery. Reception to follow in the Glen Oaks Lounge. Donations in memory of Maria can be made to the Diabetes Association of Canada.
