Obituary
Born on September 4, 1926 in Portugal. Passed peacefully in Richmond Hill on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Eduardo. Loving mother of Rolando and his wife Fatima. Adored grandmother of Ronnie and his wife Sonia and Cassandra. Maria’s family wish to extend their gratitude to Dr. Brian Berger and the staff at the Mackenzie Health Centre Palliative Care Unit, and to the entire staff at Brookside Court Nursing Home for their compassionate Care. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Mackenzie Health Centre Foundation, or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
