Margaret “Peg” Ringland
Margaret Mary “Peg” born January 5, 1924, died at the Minnedosa Personal Care Home September 27, 2018 with her family by her side. She was the beloved mother of fourteen children: Bill (Linda), Betty Ann, Verlye, Beverly, Sherrill (Clive), Lois (deceased), Gary (Jackie), Laurie (Anne), Lindee (Norman), Melodee (Steven), Jackie, Joyce (Neil), Patti (Dave) and Nikki-Lynn (deceased). She was the loving grandmother to 31+ grandchildren and also had many great and great-great grandchildren. Peg was predeceased by her husband William John (Jack) and daughters Nikki and Lois. Mom was a very hard worker with raising all us kids, her garden, and baking. She loved to travel, especially to the west coast many times. She also loved her shopping day – Saturday, and any other time if someone was available. A special thank to the Minnedosa Personal Care Home staff, Dr. Onyshko and Home Care Staff. The Graveside Service will take place at the Rapid City Cemetery on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Barb Jardine will officiate. A reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 49, 380 3rd Avenue, Rapid City, Manitoba. Donations in memory of Peg may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1379 Kenaston Boulevard, Winnipeg MB R3P 2T5.
