Obituary for
Margaret Mckenna (Lynch)
It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of our dear mother, Margaret McKenna. Mom passed peacefully away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at St. Luke’s Nursing Home in St.John’s in her 87th year.
Mom was predeceased by her husband Brendon, daughters Patricia and Shelia, granddaughter Candace and grandson Nicholas (Haire). She leaves behind with fond and loving memories, 3 sons; Gerald (Catherine), James (Alice), Sean (Glenda) and 5 daughters; Maureen (Leo), Betty, Marguerite (Brian), Anne (Elmo) and Sonya (Barry). As well as 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and the staff, residents and their families on the Fairhaven unit at St. Luke’s Nursing Home. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Marg will be waked at Fogo Island Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 29th until the funeral mass on Friday, August 31 @ 11:00 AM at St. Pius X Church, Island Harbour.
Our mom is finally “home”.
