DOWNEY, Margaret (née Cameron) – Mrs. Margaret Downey peacefully passed away at Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice, Kanata, Ontario on Wednesday December 19, 2018 at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Downey. Loving mother of Kevin Downey (Jennifer). Sadly missed by her twin granddaughters Briana (Francis), Brittney (Eric) and great-grandson Colson. Loved daughter of the late Alexander and Helen (née MacDonell) Cameron. Dear sister Charles Cameron (Elizabeth) and Robert Cameron. Predeceased by her siblings Harold (late Irene) Donald, Lloyd (Juanita), Patricia McIntosh (late Duncan), Eileen Mears (late Martin), Rodney, and the Reverend Bernard Cameron. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins. There will be no visitation. The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated in St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church, St. Andrews West, Saturday December 29th at 11AM. Rite of Committal at a later date in the St. Andrew’s Parish Cemetery. If so desired contributions in her memory to Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
