MANON JACQUELINE WELDA (SUNTJENS)
June 7, 1960 – August 30, 2018
Manon Jaqueline, loving spouse of Ray Suntjens of Coronation Alberta, passed away at the Coronation hospital at the age of 58 following a courageous battle with cancer. Manon was also a loving mother to Tanja (Matthew) of Red Deer, AB and Alana (Avery & Keaton) of Coaldale, AB. She is also survived by her brother Andreas and his wife Lana (Dayna, Paige & Christopher) of Calgary, AB. She was predeceased by her mother, Bridget Blume of Coronation, and father, Jacques Laurent, of Sidney, Australia. Even though she had lived in some of the most beautiful places in the world (Berlin, Sydney, and Vancouver), her home on the ranch, south of Coronation, was her most cherished place on earth. The pride she showed decorating her home and yard was evident to all of those who visited. She was a creative soul who excelled at everything she tried. She was an accomplished artist, photographer, seamstress, gardener, and herbalist. She loved her animals, especially her dogs and horses. Manon was never one to complain. Her strength, determination and optimism to get better was witnessed by everyone around her. Manon loved to learn and research new things, even if they weren’t conventional or the “norm.” She was never afraid to voice her opinion or to take the road less travelled. Special thank you to the staff at Coronation Hospital, who tried to keep her comfortable during her last days. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers can be made to: Saving Grace Animal Society, Alberta Cancer Society or Coronation Hospital.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Manon Jacqueline WeldaSuntjens 1960 2018 (age 58)..
