Peacefully at Lakeridge Health in Bowmanville on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at the age of 55. Beloved son of the late Gertrude and William MacDonald. Dear brother of Carolyn Davis and her husband Howard and Wayne MacDonald. Will be lovingly remembered by his nieces Cara and her husband Colin Chatfield, Krista and her husband Cam Pelletier and Shelley and her husband Mike Branston and their families. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of Christian Horizons for their loving care of James over the years. A Service will be held at McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King Street East, Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at Thornton Cemetery, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of James to Christian Horizons would be appreciated. Online condolences may be made at makfuneralhome.com.
