Lulu Nicholson, 96 years of age, passed away peacefully at the Blenheim Community Village on Saturday November 24, 2018. Lulu was born in Harwich Township, to the late Sarah (Pepper) & Robert Jackson. She was the last surviving member of her family, having been predeceased by her siblings Dorothy, Ken and Allan. Lulu married Morris John Allen who predeceased her in 1951, just one month after their son Murray John Jackson had passed away. She worked at CIBC where she met Norman Nicholson and in 1973 they were married, enjoying 44 years together before Norman passed away on May 27, 2017. She will be remembered fondly by her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a nephew Douglas Jackson.
Resting at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home, 60 Stanley Street, Blenheim where visitation will take place on Wednesday November 28, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. when a Funeral Service will take place with Rev. Mike Maroney of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will take place in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
Many thanks are extended to the staff of the Blenheim Community Village for Lulu’s excellent care over these past few years. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to remember Lulu are asked to consider the First Presbyterian Church in Chatham.
