Lorna Alice Peterson
1937-2018
Lorna Alice Peterson of Saint Thomas passed away on Thursday, November
29, 2018 at the Upper River valley Hospital in Waterville. She was
born January 15, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Hayden and
Beatrice Melvin. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a son,
Wayne Peterson; grand daughter, Makesha Steeves; sister, Dalta
(Merrill) Clark; brother, Lorne (Brenda) Melvin; stepfather, Alban
Page.
Lorna is survived by her husband, Robert Peterson of Saint Thomas;
daughters, Debby (Dale) Steeves of Okotoks, AB, Sherri (Norton) Limani
of Saint Thomas; grandchildren, Aaron Steeves, Nadia Limani, Jacob
Limani, Zain Limani; great grandchildren, Meg Steeves and Adrianna
Steeves; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Britton Funeral Home 2 High Street,
Hartland on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 4 to 6 p.m. The funeral
service will be on Sunday, December 2nd at 2:00 p.m. from the
People’s Church with Pastor Michael Horsman and Pastor Wayne
Heikkinen officiating. Interment will follow in the People’s
Church Cemetery. If so desired, donations can be made to a charity of
