Lois “Holly” Hollingsworth

It is with deep sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of Lois “Holly” Hollingsworth aged 82 at the Bayview Center on May 11, 2018.
She was the loving daughter of Gilbert and Marion Hollingsworth (deceased), dear sister of Shirley McColgan (Arnold deceased), beloved aunt of Dan, Scott, Erin (all predeceased), Laurie Moore (Toronto) and Michael McColgan (Monique), and special great-aunt of Gillian, Jaime, Cameron, Taylor, James and Alexandra.
Holly graduated in nursing from the Hotel-Dieu Hospital in Kingston. She received her Master’s in Education from Concordia University. Holly was the nurse manager in Oncology at the Montreal General Hospital for many years.
Many thanks to the staff at the Sunrise and Bayview Center for the kindness and compassion shown to Holly and her family.
Visitation will take place on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a service at 11:00 am at Saint John Fisher Church, 120 Summerhill Ave., Pointe-Claire.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
