Obituary for
Lloyd Charles Starkes
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lloyd Charles Starkes announces his passing. Lloyd passed peacefully away from the Valley Vista Senior’s Complex, Springdale, NL on Friday, June 1st, 2018 at the age of 90 years.
Lloyd is predeceased by his wife – Mina Starkes; parents – Edwin and Bella Starkes; parents-in-law – Job and Mary Starkes and siblings – Grace Randell (Claude) and Malcolm Starkes (Doris).
Left with fond and loving memories are his children – Shirley Starkes (Brian Eveleigh), Hampden, NL, Robert Starkes (Leatrice), St. Phillip’s, NL, Dean Starkes, Nipper’s Harbour, NL and Larry Starkes (Lisa), Nipper’s Harbour, NL; grandchildren – Brent Starkes (Eva Ping), Kelly MacLean (Brad), Nicole Starkes (Kris Heintz), Kirk Starkes (Jenelle Pardy) and Kendra Starkes; great-grandsons – Landon MacLean and Cameron Heintz as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.
Public Visitation will take place from Nipper’s Harbour United Church, Nipper’s Harbour, NL on Sunday, June 3rd, 2018 from 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM.
Funeral Service details to be announced as they become available.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Lloyd’s memory to the Nipper’s Harbour United Church, Nipper’s Harbour, NL.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Foster Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.
