1939-2018
Lillian Pearl Graves, 78 years of age,
passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Gables Lodge, Amherst.
Born in Mount Pleasant, she was a daughter of the late William and
Ruth (Marshall) Cloney.
Lilly was a hard worker who had a sweet
tooth, and loved to play the piano. She was known for her quick wit.
She loved to go on drives, especially road trips to Mass Town. Lilly
will be sadly missed by her daughter Melanie Benjamin (Stephen) of
Gagetown, NB, David of Oxford; grandchildren, Shannon, Matthew,
Jordan,nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased
by her husband, Garth, grandson, Bryce, sisters, Lola Black, Merna
McManaman, Sylvia Boyd.
Arrangements are under the care and
direction of W. Allen Funeral Home, 60 Water St., Oxford, NS
(902-447-2167) where the family will receive visitors on Sunday,
August 19, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be
held at the funeral home on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 11 a.m. with
Rev. Mark Collins officiating. Burial to follow in the Pine
Grove Cemetery, Oxford, NS.
Should friends desire, memorial
contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Society, or the charity of
your choice. Sharing of memories and condolences may be sent to the
