Lia Murray
1943-2018
The death occurred at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on
Monday, September 3, 2018 of Cornelia Lia Murray of Summerside,
formerly of Eat Bideford, aged 75. Lia was born in Hoogwoud, Holland
on January 27, 1943, daughter of the late Dirk and Tryntje (Peetoom)
Leegwater.
Cherished mother to Janet Woodside (Al Brouillette), Truro,
NS, Beecher (Virginia) Woodside, Poplar Grove; Heather (John)
Lockhart, Malpeque and Suzanne Woodside (Leonce Gallant), Kensington.
Step-mother to Robert (Petya) Murray, SK; Cherry Campbell (Silbert
Bridges), Summerside; Karen (Bobby) Arsenault, Summerside; Doreen
Murray (Ed Campbell), North Enmore; Mark (Monica) Murray, SK; Nancy
(Paul) , Mount Pleasant; Donna (Terry), ON and Roy Murray, Summerside.
Mother in law to Paul Arsenault, St. Gilbert and Roma Murray,
Summerside.
Loving grandmother to numerous grandchildren and great
grandchildren. Dear sister to Gertje (Clarence) Leslie, Halifax, NS
and Jacob Leegwater, River John, NS. Sister in law to Ursela Cornish,
O`Leary and Ralph Murray, Springhill.
Lia was predeceased by her parents, first husband Bertram
Woodside (1977), second husband Stanley Murray (1998), Daughter Grace
Arsenault, son Ervin and granddaughter Angelia Lia.
Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting
hours Thursday from 5-8p.m. Funeral will be held on Friday in the
Chapel at 11:00a.m. Interment to follow in Freeland Presbyterian
Cemetery.

Foundation Palliative Care Unit or Freeland Presbyterian Cemetery
would be appreciated.
