Obituary of Leslie Parry
PARRY- Leslie of Northland Pointe, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at the age of 96 years. Loving husband of Betty (née Boulton), step-father of Brian Sauve, Bonnie (Bruce) Jackson and Betty (Don) Olm, grandfather to many grandchildren and great grandchildren, father of Gail, Wendy and David, brother of Joe (Lillian) Parry, uncle of Richard, Paul, Carl and Georgia. Leslie was predeceased by his parents George and Elizabeth Parry and his brother George. Leslie was a D-Day Veteran serving as a Sergeant and Volunteer with the Canadian Army, 17th Duke of Yorks Royal Canadian Hussars during World War II. He worked at INCO for many years from where he retired and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #56. After his retirement, he had lived in British Columbia for 30 years before coming back to Port Colborne where he has resided since. By Leslie’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Arrangements entrusted to the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME, 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne.
