Leo Young 2018

Leo Young
April 13, 1945 – December 21, 2017

Leo was born in Fairview April 13, 1945 to Beatrice and Frank Young. Leo went to school in Royce and later Hines Creek.
He lived his entire life in the Lubeck area as a farmer, although he worked out in the winter mostly in the seismic industry.
Leo was always a daredevil. Everything from hang gliding on the river banks to flying his own Cessna airplane. He was a diligent pilot but was known as a bit of a wild jet boater. Leo loved animals and always had stray dogs that wandered in and stayed for the rest of their lives. Leo was a great carpenter and built everything from wooden bowls to furniture and his own house.
Leo loved his nieces and nephews and always wanted to keep up on what they were doing.
Leo was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his sisters Verna Glaum(Connie), Pat LaGreca(Virgil) and brothers Gary Young(Lorna), Rodney Young(Charlotte), Tony Young(Cindy) and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday May 27, 2018 at 2:00pm from Carter Camp, Hines Creek, Alberta.
Donations in Leo’s memory can be made to Carter Camp Society.
