1952-2018
With heavy hearts, the loving family of Leigh
George Biggar, age 66 of Travellers Rest, formerly of Inverness,
announce his peaceful passing, at Prince County Hospital, Summerside
on Tuesday April 24, 2018. Leigh was born on February 22 1952 in
McAdam, N.B, son of the late Everett & Jean (Milligan)
Biggar.
Dear father to Nathan (Colton Iwata) Edmonton, AB; Bethany
(William) Hardy, Ellerslie; Julie (Logan Raynor), Charlottetown;
Carleigh, Summerside and Carson, Summerside.
Loving grandfather to “Papa’s Handsome
Boy” Brayden Leigh Hardy.
Leigh is also survived by sisters Carol (Merrill) Steele,
Charlottetown; Judy (Charles) MacDougall, Tyne Valley; Nancy (Robert)
Taylor, Travellers Rest; Sharon (Ernest) MacEwen, Stanley Bridge;
Joanne Biggar (Rob Bernard), Charlottetown and Patsy (Allan) Smith,
Charlottetown, as well as several nieces and nephews and mother of his
children Cathy Boylan.
Leigh was predeceased
by his parents.
Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with
visiting hours Friday 5-8 p.m.
Funeral on Saturday in the Chapel at 10:30 am. Interment to
follow in the People’s Cemetery, Victoria
West.
In memory of Leigh, donations to the Education Trust Fund of
Leigh’s children Carleigh & Carson Biggar would be
appreciated.
