CWIRN, Lazar – Lazar Cwirn, 96, of Forest Hills, New York, died May 18 following a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Lee, his daughter Caren Birnbaum and her husband Bill, grandchildren Adam and Mollie Maisel, Jared and Leah Maisel, David Maisel and his significant other, Sydney Lampe and three great grandchildren, Nathan, Noah and Graham. Funeral services were held on Monday, May 21 in Paramus, New Jersey. Shiva will conclude in Toronto on Friday May 25 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at 75 Haddington Avenue Toronto. Donations will be gratefully accepted by the Dementia Society of America: www.dementiasociety.org/ or Alzeimers Society of Canada 416- 322-6560.
