Entered into rest at his residence on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at age 81 years. Son of the late Philip and Florida Simpson. Beloved husband of Cecile Simpson of 61 years. Loving father of Brian Simpson (Kathy), Mark Simpson (Pamela), and Jeff Simpson (Susan) all of Belleville. Loved by his grandchildren Brad (Jennifer), Chris (Hannah), Adam, Jennifer (James), Michael (Julie), Shannon (James), Sean (Tara) and great grandchildren Maya, Carter, Layla, Ella, Emma, Sierra, Austin, Jackson, Alexia, Brooke and Cregan. Predeceased by grandson David. Dear brother of Dorothy Evans (Peter) and Kenneth Simpson (Shirley). Predeceased by siblings Isabelle Bangs (late Fred), Clarence Simpson (late Edna), Gladys Richardson, Margaret Dickey (late James), Leonard Simpson (late Evelyn), Muriel Belanger (late Ron) and Reginald Simpson (Teresa). Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at the BURKE FUNERAL HOME (613 968-6968), 150 Church St., Belleville on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 2:00 p.m until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church, 169 North Park St., Belleville on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. James Cemetery.
