OBITUARY
Laurel Anne Peddie
May 27, 1961 – August 30, 2018
It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of Laurel Peddie into the arms of Jesus as her courageous battle with cancer was finally lost on Aug. 30, 2018, at the age of 57.
Predeceased by her loving father, Bob Stewart and brothers Larry, Greg and David. She will be deeply missed by her husband, David Peddie, mother, Diane Stewart; daughter, Jessica (Greg) Holmes and grandson, Matrim, and granddaughters, Kaiya and Nevaeh; her sister, Jennifer (Kevan) Winship, niece Jennifer Ault and nephews Kristopher, Peter, Travis, Dylan and Adam Winship.
Laurel was born in Victoria on May 27, 1961 and went to school in Calgary and Comox. She worked as an accounts payable supervisor for Bridge Brand Foods in Calgary before moving to Comox.
Laurel’s warm-hearted nature touched the hearts of many people who quickly became friends. She enjoyed reading, music and especially visits from her family and friends whether having barbecues, picnics or just sitting at the beach. Accomplished at cross-stitching and knitting her hands were always busy.
Laurel is now free of pain and at peace, thanks be to God.
